The ASA hiring indicator measures the level of difficulty on a scale of 1 to 100 with the lower skills being the jobs that are more challenging to fill. The difficulty of the scale is based on demand, supply of active candidates, and all individuals working in that occupation. The “Hard-to-fill” positions are those that have scores of 50 or less.
